Fire Interruption Technology Knocks Down New Jersey Basement Fire
Demarest, NJ
March 2009
On March 2, 2009, Assistant Chief Eric Marello and first responders from the Demarest Fire Department arrived on scene of a basement fire in a Demarest home in New Jersey.
Assistant Chief Marello deployed Ara's device through a basement window. " After [Ara's device] was deployed, the main body of fire appeared to be knocked down, leaving only small pockets of fire to be extinguished", said Marello.
Fire Interruption Technology prevented the spread of flames, reduced property damage, and saved the structure from total loss.
