Fire Interruption Technology Prevents Spread of Flames in NY Basement Fire

On the morning of April 2nd, the Roosevelt Fire Department used their Fire Interruption Technology device to respond to a fully involved basement fire in a NY home.

Ara’s device was deployed through one of the basement windows, knocking down the fire and preventing the spread of flames. “[Ara’s device] contained the fire and bought time for units to regroup and advance a hose line into the basement for final extinguishment.”

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

US Fire Tech, Ara Safety Authorized Dealer in Roosevelt, was the dealer who equipped Roosevelt Fire Department with Fire Interruption Technology.
